I made some changes to a script some time ago that would allow read/write of .xifs files - it worked great for a while but has just stopped working with the error message
"*** Error: No installed file format can write .xifs files"
PixInsight will read files in the .xifs format using the File Explorer though.
I'm using PixInsight on an iMac running macOS 10.12 (Sierra). I've tried disabling modules using Process->Manage Modules-> Disable All and then restarting and Ive also done a virus scan of the machine.
Any ideas on what else I can try ?
