In struggling with the Sharpless2 objects I found this tutorial:

https://pixinsight.com/tutorials/narrowband/

Appears as if it was headed towards a script... any more information on it?

I am not sure.  I have been reading (carefully) the new book by Chris Woodhouse and he refers to a new script in the pipeline.  The page above seems newer than the current script (Harry's?) under utilities.  There is also the French AIP script.

Feel like I am in the NSA and trying to hack into the inner workings here....  The page above procedures have 20 steps.... some of them require aesthetic judgements so a bit hard for an algorithm except with sliders and real-time previews.

G'day Jerry,

As far as I'm aware, there is no script written to date that 100% follows that tutorial.  A few claim to (claim made by by the authors of the scripts, or by users of the scripts), but from what I can tell, they don't really.  They may use some parts of the theory, but that's it.
