Problem sharing a Project (.xosf) with another user

I have created several Projects.  I sent one of the Projects (.xosm file) to another PI user and he had the following two problems:

• It appears that Gmail is attaching Permissions of some sort on the download. I have to go into the Properties and check a box that I trust the download and then I have to go into Advanced and take Ownership... If I don't do those two things I can't get PI to open it.
• Then after it opened PI gave me a warning (see attachment for error message about not including a sealed checksum file).

I believe the first problem is related to Gmail and isn't really a problem, just Gmail protecting the user.

The second problem is a little more worrisome.  Is there a way to send a .xosm file to someone without causing this problem?

Does the project indeed open? The ones I've saved also have a directory structure that accompanies the actual project file.

Hi Steve,

To transfer a PixInsight project, you need both the .xosm file and the corresponding .data folder. You have to copy or move both items to share a project.
