1.8RC7: No abort button
« on: 2013 May 17 14:16:44 »
While running an ImageContainer, I dont see an Abort Button in the process console. This is on Win7. Not sure if this affects other processes as well. See screenshot.

Pretty weird thing. Can you reproduce this? I have tried on all platforms and this doesn't happen with ImageContainer or any other process.

Yes, it is reproducible. Indeed, there is no process at all showing an Abort button. For instance, I tried TGVDenoise.

PS: The abort button is back after a reset of the application Setting (Launch with <CTRL>). I dont know how it disappeared....

So, after a reset of PI settings, the Abort button is now shown normally? Very weird, but happy to know it works now. Can we put this one also in the "strange things that happen" bag? :)

Yes, put it into the "strange things happen" bag. And if you like, listen to this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strange_Things_Happening_Every_Day  ;)

Hello,

The same thing happened to me today: on the console, the bottom line (light gray) where says "Ready - Pause/Abort" was missing.
The solution was also launching PI in uninstall mode.
I'm running Version 01.08.04.1195 Ripley (x64) on Windows 10.

My best regards,
Ernesto.

This issue is not reproducible on any of our testing and working machines, on any supported platform.

Try resetting the application (see above), this helped for me. Otherwise I would suggest to upload a screenshot showing the problem, may this helps to diagnose the issue.
