can't save project (osx 10.10, pi 1.08.04.1195)

when i try to save my project, i get the following error: "StarAlignment: Unable to lock parameter data for read-only access: referenceStarX".

resetting StarAlignment does not seem to help; unchecking "save interface states" also does not seem to help.

is there anything i can do to work around this, so that i can save my project?

Hi Rob, what happens if you close StarAlignment module and save the project without it?

I also would try to close de reference image, if it is a view from workspace (previously making a clone)

...not more ideas..

it turns out this must have been caused by a staralignment process icon on the desktop i was trying to save. after deleting them all, i was able to save the project. i have the .psm file from /tmp which should include the bad process icon, but unfortunately i did not attempt to save any of the icons separately, to see what was wrong with them.

clearing and closing the staralignment process itself did not help the problem. the reference images in all the icons was a disk file.

This was a bug in a very old version of the StarAlignment process (in early 1.8.4 versions, if I can remember well), so the icons in question must have been created long time ago, am I right? This problem cannot happen since at least a couple of years.

i don't think the process icons were created years ago.... maybe months ago but not years. i'll have to watch out and see if it pops up again.

Another thing in OS X 10.11:
When selecting and navigating in the filesystem from PI, my favorite folderes saved in Finder, seems to disappear every time I reboot PI?

I cannot reproduce any of these issues. Rob, can you upload the icons file that has been causing this problem? Maybe I could reproduce it with the same icons you've been using.
