32-bit re-installation
« on: 2016 March 05 03:11:23 »
Accidently I installed the 64-bit version over my older 32-bit version. Surprisingly, the installation went perfectly fine, but, of course, that was the 64-bit software, so it was not possible to run it on 32-bit machine.
So I uninstalled it …
Having this version on hand: PI-windows-x86-01.08.00.1071-20131215-c.exe I tried to reinstall PI, but there were problems with 7z.dll, 7z.exe, annotation-pxm.dll, and several others .. what made the re-installation not accessible.
When I click on the folder and go to previous versions, I can find a version from the very previous day (04-03-2016), which I can run manually and it’s more the less fully operational. Unfortunately, the RESTORE button is not active.
Currently the PI is uninstalled, but I can still run the “previous” version ...
Is there any registry key that I suppose to delete/modify to allow full, clean installation of PI-windows-x86-01.08.00.1071-20131215-c.exe ?
Or, how to make the RESTORE option active?
