Pixel Math apply masked image.
« on: 2016 February 27 11:35:37 »
Hi There,

I have done this before and now i can not recall how.
I have 2 images 'A' and 'B'.  I have created a star mask.

I want to copy only the stars from 'B' onto 'A'.

Can anyone tell me the pixelmath set up i need.  I need to apply either of
A masked version of 'B' onto 'A' (only the stars are effected) or
Apply 'B' to a masked version of 'A'.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks

Paddy

Paddy

Apply the mask to A.Use only image B as the expression in PixelMath. Apply PixelMath to A.

I tried that but outside area of mask i can see changes in the images masked area (its a binarised star mask so no scope for it to effect the area but it does).
Little confused how!
