deconvolution on individual channels

looking through some recent data I noticed that the FWHM of a star in the different channel of my dslr raw frame differ.I did a channel extra and found that in this data set the green channel was more out of focus. So I was thiking that there might be some value in fistly splitting the channels after calibration and then apply some decnvolution on hte green channel to bring it closer to the other two. However I am not to sure how to go about it without introducting ringing. As far as I understand apply a deringing mask will protect the star so that will defeat the idea.CAn some suggest a way to go abou this

the deringing support image, though it is usually a star mask, does not function as a star mask during deconvolution. even with the deringing support your stars will tighten up.
