Image registration for HDR Composition
« on: 2015 October 22 08:08:46 »
I am trying to do a HDR Composition of of M42. Unfortunately, I forgot to note the registration image for my 300 second exposure so that I can use that registration image for my 10 second exposure. Is there a way determine which registration image I used? I am trying to avoid reprocessing. Thanks

You can use any of the registered 300s images. You could also use the integration of all the 300s images.

If you haven't processed a new stack yet, if you reopen the StarAlignment tool, the image file you used as the reference image should still be listed in the box.

Best,

Jim
Really, are clear skies, low wind and no moon that much to ask for?
