Process Icons do not work on Mac
« on: 2015 October 13 12:28:26 »
I have a friend over and tried to move some saved process icons from my PC to his Mac version but they would not load ( we got an error message saying file not supported). This despite the icons in the file explorer in Mac showing the PixInsight logo. They load fine on my PC from the same USB stick.

The message is:

file:///.file/id=7356914.34

"unknown or unsupported file type"

OK, answered my own question: Dragging the icons in OSX does not work like it does in Windows but double clicking does.

Is this normal?

yes i think this is a bug in PI (or maybe actually Qt) related to yosemite and probably el capitan.

same happens when you try to drag an image into PI.
