Inter channel curve module
« on: 2015 September 16 04:49:07 »
Hello

I'm looking for the Interchannel Curves module that operates in Mac.

Is this a forlorn hope? It looks the business for clearing up colored halos. I have green rimmed stars as the star sizes in Green are fatter tha R and B - there are some tips on using this module to solve this issue that I'd like to trial

Hi Pete (and Rob)

We'll have to wait for the next 1.8.4 release for OSX until I can make new compilations of the modules. The source code has some changes that makes it incompatible with previous versions. This stands for all my development modules.

Thanks for the patience.

Regards,

Pete,

Have you tried a star mask and SCNR?  You could also create a mask to target the halos with the ColorMask script.

Cheers,
Rick.

Thanks Rick

I think I arrived at the same conclusion. I managed to sort it by isolating the halos with a Lum mask and a tight star mask - then applied SCNR.

I've never tried the ColourMask script - something to play with tomorrow.
