i am interested in workflow to reduce chromatic abberation for refractors. After reading up a bit it seems that rescaling the individual rgb channels migth help. Since some wavelength are not focused correctly will some deconvolution not also assist to try and bring the channels to the same level.I am aware of the camera raw function but have not used it for astro images to date on terrestrial images which it works well for. I can across this article that describes a lot of detail and I am not sure how the lightroom version handle it .Is it the same type of algorithm, or is it only reducing the saturation of the blue violet components. Is there a workflow for pix insight to deal with this.
