Problem with NBRGBCombination Script

I seem to be running into some bugs lately...

When I run the NBRGBCombination script and try to see the NBRGB preview, I get the following error:

Update:  I get a similar I/0 error when running the SHO-AIP script.

No problems on these with me.  Running them on a daily basis working on the Sharpless2 objects.

According to Juan this is not a problem with PI or the scripts, but with my machine.  I don't understand why I'm getting these errors since I have a decent computer with plenty of processing power, RAM and hard drive space.

Would un-installing and then re-installing PixInsight help? I don't think your issue has to do with processing power of your computer.

Hi Joel!
For me it looks like - You do not have enough disk space on your C:drive.
If your 16GB RAM are full,  the RAM needs to be swapped to the swap.files at the C:disk
If you have not enough additional free space on C: Windows gets into troubles...

Simply try to get more diskspace freed on your C: Drive!
12GB left  is NOT enough. For example look in the .../temp Directory for dead bodies to delete.
If you have afterwards 30GB left free on your C: Drive i am sure all troubles are gone.

Thanks Gerald.  After some research I think this is the problem too.  Unfortunately the most space I can get on my C: drive is about 21GB, but that should be enough.  I was only getting these errors when the drive was down to only about 12GB remaining.
