How Do I get Color Icons??
« on: 2015 March 04 11:29:53 »
I know this has been asked before but I cannot find an answer.  Is there a way to colorize the icons the way I see them on certain screenshots from the old timers.  Sometimes grey scale just does not make any sense; for example in the Mask icons, you can choose the color of the mask but all the choices are grey and you have to mouse over them to see which is which.

If there is not a way, then this goes on the wishlist.

Thanks,

Jim

Hallo Jim!
I hope i understand your concern correct?
The Icons become colorized when usable. When you put a mask over the image the mask icons become colorized
etc...
gray says   you cant choose, colorized says you can choose -
On my Windows PC

Gerald,

Thanks but I was going a different place.  I actually want to be able to add color to the icons sitting at the top of the work space, similar to the way that some of them already have color (such as the STF icons when you have an image open) just like the symbols for the process tools and explorers which also have colored icons.  I understand older versions had color but somewhere Juan and his team went with grey scale for the most part.  My question is, can you bring back the color through some mechanism?

Best,

Jim

Gerald,

I take back what I said and admit I am an idiot.  You are exactly right.  I hadn't noticed before that the mask color icons do become colored when you activate a mask in a way that they can be used.

Never mind!!!   :o
