pi on windows 8
« on: 2015 February 04 21:08:33 »
I just got a new laptop running windows 8 and the top toolbar icons, as well as, the icons in windows for maximize, execute, minimize, etc. are tiny.  I've tried messing with the resolution but it seems to be the PI program and not web browsers or other programs.  Anybody know anything about this?  My desktop running windows 7 has no issue with this.  I've also changed icon size, etc. with no change in the PI program.  Thanks!

What screen resolution does your laptop have?

3840x2160, I've tried changing the resolution, what I'm doing isn't helping.  The biggest pia is are the size of the cursor, the minimize, maximize, etc, and the borders of the windows are tiny with very little tolerance when attempting to resize.  Thanks a bunch!!!!

As you have just checked, we don't support high-dpi screens. I am working to implement support for these resolutions, but this is a lot of work and will require some time (months). Sorry for the trouble.

Okay, thank you very much.  No trouble at all, I was thinking it was something I couldn't figure out.  I'm really enjoying my experience so far.  Thank you!
