Tool Tips on MacOSX
« on: 2015 February 16 04:08:29 »
On the Mac very long Tools Tips do not all show but are truncated, have a look at ImageIntegration > Scale Estimator, only part of the paragraph starting "The average Deviation, MAD, biweight...." is shown and the rest of the tool tip description is missing.

This works all OK on Windows and Linux platforms.

Just to add another situation, tool tips are also truncated for long file paths in the Script Editor on Win 7, when moving the pointer from the text editing pane into the file list pane.

the tool tips are shown both when the mouse is hovered over the control and over the description or drop down menu. can you see if you get the full tooltip if you move your mouse over to the other UI element?

Hi Rob,

Thanks for comment, it works all OK if you hover over the description, but is truncated if you hover over the control.
