HaRGB

Can anybody please help?  I have been doing some imaging using HaRGB filters and I have a problem.  When combining the Ha image with the RGB image I get a sort of ringing effect on the stars due to the fact that the stars in the Ha image are so much smaller than the stars in the RGB image.  Is there any way I can overcome this effect using PixInsight.

Have you tried the various scripts for combining narrowband and RGB?
Script>Utilities>NBRGB
or
Script>Multichannel Synthesis>3options-- See here http://pixinsight.com/forum/index.php?topic=4853.0
I find the NBRGB script works well for me.

Yes, in the scripts, check out the AIP one.  I like it and it is easy to use and has noise reduction.
