Three Small Issues
« on: 2014 November 19 13:10:49 »
Hi, per the latest version 1.08.03.1123:

1. Opening a single sub (preprocessed in PI) got a 'PixInsight API Error' GetViewPropertyValue(): Low-level API function error API error code = 3: Invalid module handle. Superimposed over this was a 'Please wait, Computing view property: MAD This didn't resolve until I closed the box via the 'x' at which point the image opened normally, and it did not happen again.

2. Projects which have 'Sealed project' selected are displaying 'Project Warning: Loading an Unsealed Project' upon reload.

3. I've noticed that 'Resources/About PixInsight' continues to list the original Commercial License info, rather than the updated name, address, and identifier. This despite later revisions installed with the new license information.

Thank you!
Best always, Warren

Hi Warren,

I can't reproduce this problem on any platform. Can you upload the image?

2. Projects which have 'Sealed project' selected are displaying 'Project Warning: Loading an Unsealed Project' upon reload.

I can't reproduce this either. Are you sure you have written the project with the "Sealed project" option enabled?

This is normal. The application is loading the license file that you have on your machine, which was generated with the old data. To get the new data, you have to:

1. Delete your license file (but make a backup first, just in case). Your license file is "pixinsight-license" and is located on your home folder, namely: "C:\Users\<user-name>", where <user-name> is your actual user name on Windows.

2. Reactivate your license by following the procedure described in FAQ 2.10: http://pixinsight.com/faq/

Let me know if it works.

Hi Juan!

1. First issue never occurred again

2. I'm not certain. Was the sealed option available prior? I was getting this message when opening projects saved by previous versions. When checking the Save Project dialog 'Sealed project' was checked, but perhaps it is by default? Hope that makes sense.

3. I'll try this soon. Thanks for all.
