1.8.3: Dragging DBE process icon on image has no effect
« on: 2014 October 31 14:58:39 »
When I drag a process icon containing a DBE directly onto a target image, nothing happens (despite indications of actions on the process console). First opening the DBE dialog, then loading the DBE icon, then applying the DBE seems to work as expected. I am not sure that this behaviour is new to 1.8.3. Dragging other dynamic processes directly onto an images (such as DynamicCrop) seems to work fine.

Is the DBE instance set up to produce a background model, or to process the target image? Can you upload a minimal project where this happens?

DBE is set up to correct the image via division. Ill try to produce an example after the weekend.

Here is how to reproduce:
- From Vicents 2014 EPIC workshop, load LRGB/LRGB_NGC1808.xosm
- Do the RGB combine
- Clone the RGB image
- drag Background_Neutralization to the original image several times. Nothing happens.
- Activate the Clone image
- Activate DBE by double clicking on Background_Neutralization.
- Apply to the clone several time. Gradient is removed as expected.
The attached screenshot shows the original on the right (clear gradient), and the clone on the right (gradient largely removed).
