While Juan and the PTeam spend countless hours creating and honing PixInsight, it has historically left them little time for proper documentation. While, they are stepping this up via workshops; myself, and IP4AP.com have spent hundreds of hours creating carefully researched and tested, written, edited, and produced tutorials, which effectively reduce pages of information (when available and often not) into 3-8 minute highly-digestible videos.
Curious as to whether you've viewed them? Perhaps as Cdesselles intimates, you 'misunderstood the mission'. What I can tell you is that we've helped over a thousand PI users internationally, become comfortable, even proficient with the software. We've had many folks tell us that they would have long ago abandoned it, if not for our concise, succinct, and professional tutorials. That's why Juan and the PTeam have been supportive of our commercial efforts, and have encouraged us to share our work with forum members.
I dare say that if not for our friend Harry Page's early efforts at 'packing others' ideas', PixInsight would not have thrived as it so deservedly has.
