Why do you use Multiple Workspaces
« on: 2014 August 05 14:39:02 »
Hey folks,

I want to get some opinions from the forum crowd.  I have found uses for many of the tools in the PixInsight toolkit, but one that I just never use is the option to have stuff in multiple workspaces at the same time.  This is such a basic part of the set up that I am obviously missing something important.

As such, I would love to hear from those who have found using multiple workspaces useful or indispensable in their workflow.  Please help me understand what I am missing ???

Thanks!!

Jim
Really, are clear skies, low wind and no moon that much to ask for?

i am usually working on multiple projects at once - and i usually want a scratch space just to blink images coming down from the observatory.

so i use one workspace per project. i just need to be careful when saving projects that i have selected the right workspaces to save.
