SubframeSelector Script
« on: 2014 February 03 18:58:59 »
There seems to be two different SubframeSelector scripts listed under the Batch Processing header in the Scripts drop-down menus.  One is marked 0.95.  The other marked 0.97.  Is there a difference between the two?  If one is just an older version of the other, why wasn't the older on overwritten by the newer?  Just a tad confusing.
Celestron CPC1100 - Canon 550D (T2i) and of course, Pixinsight!

Hi. 0.97 is the latest. You shouldn't have two. Have you just install version 1.8 1087?
You can try launching PixInsight in uninstall mode, that is pressing Ctrl key while launching PixInsight and it will be reseted to default values.
You can also remove 0.95 from the folder located in PixInsight>src>scripts
Saludos.

You should always uninstall the previous version of PI before installing  a new one.

So, I haven't been able to figure out how to solve this.  Basically, my STF8300 will every once in awhile decide not to actuate a frame. The Yahoo! Group says it's a driver issue... and they're working it.  I end up with a bad frame every once in awhile.  From what I can tell, Subframeselector doesn't know what to do if it can't detect stars... it ends up crashing PI every time.  Is there a way to fix the behavior?  Some way for it to either fail gracefully or skip the file?
