Its very common to use a single flat for many different type of light say one for meant for the lum is used for the rgb and many other combinations
the bpp script will work if you use the custom add but is very finicky about its use ( syntax wise )
A option to " use flat for all" would be a boon and simple to add I would suggest and stop a lot of user confusion
