TIFF Format
« on: 2014 April 06 08:04:41 »
Hi,
I can no longer save my files in the TIFF format as it is no longer there.
Is that normal or something as gone amiss.
Thank you.
Vince

Hi Vince,

File > Save As... opens the windows "Save Image File As". Don't you have the TIFF option in type file there?

Saludos. Alejandro.

Hi,
When I do exactly that I don't have TIFF any more and all the files saved in the past as TIFF don't show anymore.
I have also re-installed PI and I have the same issue.
Thank you for your help.
Vince

Check that you have the "Tiff-pxm" module in your bin folder and that it was installed when launching PI. If not so, try running the install modules option, to install it.

hi,
Thank you for the info.
I have checked that the "tiff.pxm" is there and yes it is. But I still cannot save or open "tiff files".

HI,
Problem solved. As explained on the forum I started PI while holding Ctrl  down and then restarted PI.
Thank you for your help.

Sorry, what does it mean to start PI while holding CTRL button and restart, where is it in the forum?

Thank you    Gerhard
