File Explorer

Hi all - another one of those daft questions which probably has a simple answer. I store my files on an external drive but the PI file explorer (Mac OSX) only sees the main Mac drive. Is that on purpose?

thanks for that, I found the terminal command at the bottom of that post - Mac OSX then gave a warning about it being risky and I backed off.
sudo SetFile -a v /Volumes
I guess I'll just ignore File Explorer

Chris, if that's the case then I hope you are not dissuaded. Sudo has many useful and correct applications. To never execute a sudo command because of this warning is to never maximize the potential of OS X or, as in this case, correct unnecessary defaults imposed by Apple.

OK - I'll give it a go. I certainly recognise the advantages of file explorer. Thanks for the advice.
