Batch Preprocessing integration parameters
« on: 2013 June 26 00:01:55 »
Good morning,
I am getting good results with the batch preprocessing tool, integrating with median and winsorized sigma clipping. When I try to do the same integrating the registered debayered images I do not get the same result. The integration dialog asks me additional parameters such as normalization and weights. Can anyone tell me the script default values in order to get the same results integrating by myself? Otherwise, whenever I want to add a new shot I have to preprocess everything again.

Thanks and regards

Don't know if anybody will still read this, or maybe the thread opener has found an answer, but I have the exact same problem/question.
Anybody?
Thanks
Stephan

Hi Stephan, welcome to the forum.
First be sure you are using the same rejection parameters.
Also use in Image Integration the same Masters you have generated in BPP.

Leave the main "image integration" panel at the default settings

In Pixel Rejection(1), Set rejection algorithm to winsorised sigma clipping and normalisation to "scale+offset"
This mimics the BPP settings.

Then you can just re-run Image Integration and alter the sigma high/low settings in Pixel Rejection(2)
