Global Preferences
« on: 2013 December 30 12:47:40 »
Hi,

while editing Global Preferences, I expected to avoid the feature "Double-click launches Open File dialog". But after disabling the feature and restarting PI (1.8-1071) there is no modification detectable.
Is there any explanation why this is (not) happening?

Thanks,
Rolf Stadelmaier

Hi Rolf,
"Double-click launches Open File dialog" is enabled by default. After disabling and apply globaly, close PixInsight and wait a minute before restarting it.
Look at the top in the name of the program and make sure that you have opened the same instance that you have closed.  (Because Preferences will be different in different instances)
Open Preferences and the modification should be detectable now.

Saludos.
Alejandro.

Alejandro, thank you for responding.

I exactly dealed according to your recommendation without having any effect. I'm experiencing all the same behavior with Windows 7 (64) and Fedora 18 (64).
It's no importend issue, but out of curiosity ...

Rolf
