Hi,
image integration of non-FITS files is a memory consuming and slow business. For instance, integrating more than 89 JPegs fails on my 4 GB system, the same with with images converted to FITS works fine. I would propose the following:
- add warning if you try to integrate non-FITS files
- add option to temporarily generate files that can be handled efficiently by ImageIntegration.
