Aligning Comet nuclei with PI ?

Hi,
New to PI so perhaps I'm jumping in too far too soon, but-
I shot some RGB subs of comet Brewington last night and I want to align the subs on the comet head but so far all I've managed to do is align on the star background and I can't seem to find any way of manually aligning subs?

What have I missed

I had seen this and downloaded the files after a 'G' search, followed the instructions but to no avail. Tried rebooting etc after importing but still PI can't see the module/file....

I've downloaded the trial of PI: 1.8 RC7 so downloaded from the '1.8' link given ?

The CometAlignment module included in standard PI package. Just use latest PI version.
Menu>Processing>ImageRegistration>CometAlignment

Hi NKV,
Followed your path but only have 'Dynamic alignment' or 'Star alignment' under Image registration. Running PI - 1.8 RC7 Window 7 OS

Tried again but get the error message:
Unable to resolve PCL API interface
with these notes:
Files/PixInsight/bin/CometAlignment-pxm.dll: Module initialization error: Exit code: 1
*** Warning: No modules were installed.
