repository server not responding

Good Morning,

I am a new member of the community and a novice PI user. I have a licensed version of the PI and wish to download the updates if any and also download the TGV Denoise module but every time I start the software I get the message " https://pixinsight.com/update/: Network error: schannel: next InitializeSecurityContext failed: Unknown error (0x80092013) - The revocation function was unable to check revocation because the revocation server was offline."Can you help please?

If you search the forum for schannel (use search functionality) you will find a number of messages that discuss this. I am not sure if your message has the same cause (details seem to be different),but maybe it is the same problem.

Thanks for your reply, I have done the scannel search and it just redirects me to my own post and now to your reply.

Before searching, navigate to the top level of the forum. Then use the search box. Or use the search dialog (3rd entry from left on the top menu, http://pixinsight.com/forum/index.php?action=search).

Hi,

The issue been resolved, an extra s at the end of https had to be removed from the default repository url to make it http. Download of 16 updates completed but one failed.
