Hi Guys,

I am running 1.08 (1012) version of PI on latest fully up to date MacbookPro.  If I do a deconvolution and then undo it (using toolbar button say) I get an error (see attached image). Would someone mind seeing if they get the same ?

For the deconvolution I define a custom PSF and a starmask for support. I also use a rangemask/luminance mask applied to the image.

If I apply a single iteration deconvolution(fast!) and then undo all is fine.

Now generate a single preview. Apply the convolution first to the preview. Leave the preview deconvolved. Now deconvolve the main image and then try an undo - that is where I get the error.

This is completely repeatable for me. The deconvolved preview seems to set things off.

Ta
Chris

Hi Chris,

You are using an old RC version. Please download the latest version 1.8.0 RC7, install it and all the available updates. Your version number should be:

PixInsight Core 01.08.00.1023 RC7 Ripley

I am sorry - my laptop was out of date. My desktop at home is fine. Out of interest did I miss a pop up in the app letting me know that there is a new version or is that only via email ?

Looking forward to getting the new MacPro when it comes out - that should give PI some serious oooomph!

Cheers
Chris
