Hi. I have loaded pixinsight core vision 01.08.00.0990 windows 64 bit onto a desktop computer and moved my user licence from my laptop and placed it into users on desktop,pixinsight starts up ok and seems work ok but the message https://pixinsight.com/update/:network error:schannel:failed to setup extended errors. what could be the prob?.

Hello, I cry victory too soon! I am still having the error message with Pixinsight Core 1.8.0.1023 RC7 Ripley (cumulative bugfix)

Network error:schannel: failed to setup extended errors  :sealed:

The rest of the upgrades were succesful!!!

Do I have missing something?

I have the same problem on a 32-bit machine ..  >:(
