GREYCstoration: PC hang with 'Spatial step size' set  to zero

Found a bug which hung my PC today, I left it an hour or so to see if would just complete the operation, but it just took 100% of all 4 processors with no sign of completing, never showed the Process Window.

I am new to PI and as such I am experimenting with settings to see what they do. I was using GREYCstoration with all default settings which was fine. Then I took the slider for 'Spatial step size' to zero and ran the process, and it hung.

Using Windows 7 on an Athlon quad core PC, using the 64bit version of PI 1.7

Just searched the forum to check if it has been reported before I posted and it was, in Jan 2011. Has this not been fixed?

Thank you,

Mike

Hi Mike,

I apologize for not having fixed this problem two years ago. I just overlooked it. This bug is now fixed in version 1.8.0 RC2, which we plan on releasing tomorrow.

Thank you for pointing out this issue.
