In the HLA you can find images that are made at different wavelenghts.
They range from 435 to 814. I think 435 is red and 814 is blue ?
But sometimes you can only find higher number, 555,658,660.
I use the lowest numbers for red, and the higher ones for blue, and I make green with PixelMath by using the formula r*.5 + b*.5.
My question is : are the colors still correct if I use for example 658 as red and 814 as blue, or 435 as red and 814 as blue, or sometimes I only have 658(r) and 660(b). ?
Usually the colors come out quite nicely, but sometimes not.
Is it OK to use 3 wavelenghts for example 435 (r), 658(g) and 814(b) ? Because then there is a lot of green and purple, and I haven't seen that in many pictures of galaxies.
