Master Darks and Biais
« on: 2012 October 18 11:26:00 »
Hello,
Can we use master files like Bias and dark into Batch Processing Script.
If we have already integrated a lot of files we don't want to reprocess it again.

  I'm very new to PixInisght.

yes you can, as long as they are the masters that were created by a previous run of the script. just point to the masters instead of the subs and tick the 3 "use master XXX" check boxes.

What if I use Image Integration to create my Master.

good question - i have never tried that as i usually don't use mono CFA mode when converting CR2 files. it seems that the BatchPreprocessing script uses mono CFA.

in theory it should be possible to do what you have asked if you reverse engineer exactly what the script does. it boils down to the Input and Output format hints the script is using.

:o i have never seen that error before. pretty obscure.

i think the safest thing to do is just save the masters created by the script on a first run and then just re-use those. there are too many things that can go wrong here especially for OSC images...
