PixInsight Version:
01.07.06.0793 eng x86_64

Action:
Double click .fit file to launch it in PixInsight

Result:
See attached image.
File does not open in PixInsight.

i think this has been reported before, but maybe is not being fixed until 1.8? hopefully juan can chime in. i have all the latest updates to 1.7 and it still happens to me.

This is a known bug in the Mac OS X version of PixInsight 1.7. It will be fixed in version 1.8.

Sorry for the inconvenience. The workaround is using the main menu (File > Open, or Cmd+O) to open files.

This is a known bug in the Mac OS X version of PixInsight 1.7. It will be fixed in version 1.8.

Drag and drop also works fine.

Hey Guys,

Thanks for confirming this is a known issue.  It is obviously not a show stopper but more of a hindrance to productivity.  I will be on the lookout for 1.8.  :)
