Problem: Batch Preprocessing of Canon DSLR images
« on: 2012 May 20 03:21:18 »
Dear All,

I wanted to calibrate some frames of mine acquired by a modified Canon EOS350D.
If I open a single raw frame and I use the autostretch feature I see it with "normal" colors, while if I calibrate and stack the light frames using the Batch Preprocessing, the image is completely yellow-shifted; looking at its histogram there is no sign of blue channel.
I already tried to change the debayering grid, with no success, I simply get a colour shifted stack.
I attach the two images for your reference, both with autostretch enabled.
Thanks a lot for your help.

Not sure. Can you post a screenshot of your BP script settings?

When I use BPP on my T1i subs I always get more level in the R channel  then when I manually calibrate.
I've attached one 120sec-400iso sub from last night of M13, note the probe readout. I assume the difference is caused by the gray Masters files used during Calibration.

PS I manually Calibrated with my normal Calibration files.
Rowland, I don't have a problem with ether Calibration methods.

Unless something is completely out of whack, ABE should fix this. I use a minimum of 3 iterations of ABE and find that colour is more evenly distributed, following colour calibration. Worth a try?
