Debayer function throws away Fits header data!
« on: 2012 March 23 06:38:20 »
Dear PI team,

I found an error when experimenting with the new "CometAlignment Tool":
I have a FITS File with some Header Data (see Screenshot #1) from a DSLR camera.
It was not converted by PI, for there is currently no possibility to add DATE-OBS header data from RAW.

If I debayer this with Process->Debayer or with the Batch Debayer function all header data are missing !!
After save and reload of the debayered image the DATE-OBS parameter is missing (see screenshot #2)

You can reproduce this easily.

Greetings
Christoph
Kind regards,
      Christoph

Yes, that's true. When I wrote it it was more for convenience to check a frame here or there than for stacking as there was no calibration feature back then.
Best,

This bug is now fixed in the latest version of the Debayer tool, which we have released as an update. Sorry for the inconvenience.
