Star Alignment - need at least 6 stars

Running StartAlignment the process windows states that it has found 50867 stars, but then the alignment process errors out saying 0 star(s) found - need at least six stars.

Clearly there are enough stars, so what could be causing this error?

This bug is now fixed in the latest update, which we have just released. Please see this bug report.
