A teasingly tasty little morsel for you...

http://billionsandbillions.com/ngc_2841.html

This is about 75% PI and a touch of finishing in PS. Enjoy!
Best always, Warren

Thank you gents. I'm about done with M101 as well http://billionsandbillions.com/pinwheel.html and I was really pleased. I feel as if PI is giving me a more naturalistic look than all PS.
Best always, Warren

Wow, that 101 is stunning!

Have you thought about bringing your teaching ability and sense of humor over to the PI side to help bring people up to speed? Your PS tutorials taught me a lot of great theory and techniques, even though I ended up switching to PI for its power and algorithmic methods. Perhaps you already have and I just don't know about it...
