Hmm, if this is really an artefact of the interpolation in ImageRegistration, I think Juan should have a look.
It's not artefact. It's nature of interpolations algorithm. Some pixels have more noise (without averaging) from image sources, some less (with averaging from near pixels).

Folks,

I do not know if this is the software's responsability...
Sometimes the problem is just in front the door, for me it is some parasite stray light hitting the lens coatings ore the inside baffles what could explain those strange image artefacts  :o

The averaging of each process should iron out these image "problems" i think?

Hello

I Also got this kind of pattern during my recent trys to use the calibration/registration/integration process of PI.
I tought that I was dooing something wrong, but I now see I wasn't.
