IC2944/48 - 'Running Chicken'
« on: 2011 June 27 01:37:59 »
The name speaks for itself  :)

Very thin clouds moving through occasionally gave some halo to brighter stars, so the chicken has a glowing heart now ;D

Gerhard,

you are welcome  :D

Just one little question; with your ASA mount, is it true that it is unnecessary to "autoguide" it.
I heared that it could give pinpoint stars; unguided for takes longer than 20 minutes?!?!
I am asking this for two reasons:
1. Why did you choose your "short" 300s exposures?
2. I am considering to buy me one of these mounts and optics in the future and I am trying to gather experiences of owners.

Thanks

Cheers

Lex
