Using Luminance of Two Different Exposure Times
« on: 2011 September 03 22:04:09 »
I have been working on imaging M31 with my FSQ-106 and STL-11000M. Most all the color data and luminance is 20 minute sub exposures. With the luminance data at 20 minutes the core is somewhat blown out. So I took a series of 19 - 5 minute exposures to help with the core detail. What is the best way to use these two sets to get a good combined luminance image? I know what I would do using layers in PS but I'm thinking there is a good way to handle this in PI. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Steve
