Cannot Activate New Install

Howdy,

My laptop cratered, so I just got a new one and am reinstalling PI.  I entered my UserIndentifier and my Activation code, but it will not accept it.  What do I need to do?

Hi,

in such cases an email to support@pixinsight.com is probably best. Assuming you had a backup of your old PC you should be able to find your .pixinsight-license file in your %USERPROFILE% directory.

Aha!  Yes, I was able to retrieve the license from my old computer (before it blue screened again). 

I forgot about copying the licensing key.  I do remember now having to copy the license when I upgraded to Win 7.
