With the latest updates we have released new documentation for some standard tools:

Resample, including a thorough description of pixel interpolation algorithms and a comparison of their performance for downsampling and upsampling images.

Crop, including examples of positive and negative cropping margins.

RangeSelection. Updated documentation to include the new 'link range limits' option in the RangeSelection interface.

Debayer. Documentation authored by Zbynek Vrastil, who has also written the latest version of this tool including an implementation of the VNG debayering algorithm.
Along with these standard tools, Georg Viehoever has authored improved/new documentation for the tools in his GradintDomain module. These documents, along with a new version of the module, have been distributed through the
update-devel repository:
