M16 - NGC6611 - Eagle Nebula SHO color
9x300s Ha; 9x300s SII; 15x300s O3, a T=0ºC
Cámaras Atik 314L+

Tomada en Valdemorillo, varios días de julio 2011

LDN673 - A Dark Nebula in Aquila

This is my first attempt at a dark nebula - these things aren't easy! LDN673 is a very large dark nebula in the Aquila Rift. This is a slight wider field view of LDN673 than you normally see, but it shows additional faint dark nebulosity at the top of the image.

Enjoy!

Details:

Takahashi FSQ106EDX, QSI583wsg, Astrodon LRGB Filters, AP900 Mount, Guided with PhD
Captured June/July 2011 from the Rogue Valley in Southern Oregon
Imaged using Images Plus 4.0, Calibrated and Processed using PixInsight  1.7

L    = 50x300sec, Bin 1x1
R   = 35x300sec, Bin 2x2
GB = 30x300sec, Bin 2x2

Luminance Processing
- Calibration - Darks, Bias, Flats (all capture at -20)
- Star Align
- Integration - Windsorized Sigma Clipping
- DBE
- AWT for noise reduction
- Histogram Transformation
- HDR Wavelets with Mask

RGB
- Calibration
- Star Align onto Luminance
- Integration
- Combine RGB
- DBE on combined RGB
- Histogram Transformation - colors well balanced, so just slight tweaks to align Histogram peaks
- Slight saturation and contrast enhancement with Curves
- SCNR to remove slight green cast

LRGB
- Combine Luminance with RGB
- Final Curves tweaks to increase saturation

Hello everyone,

NGC 6559 is extrimelly dence region near the galactic core, colorfull and dynamic with so many beautifull ojects including Bernard 303 and 91 in a background with golden sun sand.

Image taken on 2nd & 3rd of July, from the dark skies of Strethi mountain Greece.
Tanceparency: good
Seen: average-windy

Telescope: VIXEN VC200L visac at f/6.4
Camera: STL11000M -20C

Mount: EQ6

LRGB L:200min 1x1bin RGB:75min2x2bin each color. Total exposure 7 hours.

Work flow (not in order)

LUM: Dynamic crop-DBE-Histogram-Deconvolution with star mask- ACDNR
RGB: Dynamic crop-DBE-Histogram-MT-LHE-Curves for color saturation
LRGB: Combination-Histogram&Curves minor adj.-Curves to anhance contrast
PS:Selective color enhance

Hello
Here is my ROSETTE nebula reprocessed !

Full format :
http://www.astroccd.eu/images/rosette-LRVBpanel100.jpg

Rosette LRGB only
http://www.astroccd.eu/images/rosette-LRVB-100.jpg

FSQ106ED 0.73x  with QSI540wsg
Ha : 10x20min + 4x30min
OIII : 6x20min
SII : 6x20min

Preprocessing (bias, dark, flat correction and image integration) under PI for each narrowband image
Processing under PI :

HistogramTransform of the 3 images Ha, OIII, SII
HDRWT for 3 images Ha, OIII, SII
HDRWT for Ha copy (little different process for "L")
ACDNR for 4 images
CurveTransformation on 4 images
Pixel Math for RGB image :
  R=0.4*Ha + 0.6*SII
  G=0.4*OIII + 0.3*Ha + 0,3*SII
  B=OIII
CurveTransformation for RGB image for color correction and contrast boost
little ACDNR for chroma on RGB image
Star reduction with MorphologicalTransformation and Star Mask

On "L" (Ha copy), RestorationFilter for details enhance
LRGB with L on the RGB image

Then go to Photoshop for color correction (easier than PI for this)

Go back to PI for final rendering and conversion

Cheers
Philippe
