Hello!

I'm getting the following error when I  use the ExtractWaveletLayers.js script:
run --execute-mode=auto "C:/PCL64/src/scripts/ExtractWaveletLayers.js"

Access violation: invalid memory read operation at address FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
 
This is my setup:
Pixinsight version 1.7
on windows 7 64 bit ( 2 Xeon processors with 8Gb of memory)

What am I doing wrong?

I am getting the same error with this script using
Pi 1.7 and Win XP 32 Bit

This is another manifestation of an already known —and prolific!— bug. It has been fixed in PixInsight Core 1.7.0.696 for Windows, available as an update.

Thanks for the correction and information, PI runs nicely now!
The Release 1.7 for me is giant step forward. The projekt save and load is excellent.
Its real fun now to use PI also at late night...!!
