... drop a file on it. This blocks the originating explorer window. This didn't happen with last week's version.

Thanks

Hi Sander,

I can't reproduce this here. Could you please post a screen shot?

Thank you

hi Juan,

here it is. To reproduce:

- start PCL
- grab a FITS file in explorer
- drag and drop it onto PCL

There may be other ways to reproduce it but I'm sure once you remove this dialog (which is not modal by the way but blocks the entire application) it'll disappear from all scenarios.

Oh, this forum doesn't allow posting of images on the forum? Check here please: http://gallery.tungstentech.com/main.php?g2_itemId=101

PS I test software/hardware for a living so I know the dreaded 'worksforme' quite well :-)

Ok, you caught me

No WorksForMe intended, believe me (not this time, at least ;) ). I put this test MessageBox in the URL decoding routine to debug some problems with odd things like "file:///C:\foo\foobar.fits" (note the three slashes) that Windows sends for dropped files. It's simply that I forgot to remove it before compiling the time-limited version... I'm ashamed

Of course, this will be gone in the next version (due this weekend). I promise to pay more attention this time ;)

Thank you for discovering this pitfall (it could have survived for months otherwise <g>).
