Possible bug in ACDNR
« on: 2011 February 10 22:40:12 »
Hi,
I have come across this issue twice now nad so I thought I would report it.
Perhaps it's something I'm doing but I can't think of what it could be.

With the ACDNR tool open if I press alt-n (Windows7) to creat a preview but do not have the image selected, the ACDNR tool still has focus,
then an error message pops up stating an invalid character has been entered and a full size preview is generated, but it is transparent and follows the moune cursor around the screen.

It is impossible to disable and as the cursor traverses the original image, it paints over the image, removing the transparent preview wherever the mouns tracks.

Eventually I was able to remove the preview (don't know what did it) but the work is lost.

The program does not crash and I can continue to work.

Has any one else come acress this?

Cheers,
Luke

Hi Luke,

Anybody else has seen this behavior? I can't reproduce it on any platform.

The Alt+N shortcut (select the New Preview mode) will only work when a view has the keyboard focus. This is normal behavior. Bear in mind that tools are high-level windows so they have their own keyboard event manager that replaces the workspace's one (with a few exceptions).
