Raw training images?
« on: 2011 March 11 15:15:41 »
Hy,

in order to compare my abilities and to perfect my workflow of treating images; are there some Raw-Images out there existing to be used for processing for newbies like me?

Regards

thanks

Jim Misti has images for download on his site.

I have a set of LRGB calibrated FIT files (M42) taken with a light buckets scope. Most happy to provide the ftp login to you and anyone else interested in practicing processing - FOC. Big download.

Cant help with RAW, unless your talking DSLR - I have a set of M8 that will make challenging processing.

I, too, would be happy to set up a Dropbox to allow you to get the data for these images if you wanted. Perhaps you could do even better than my students!
